SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea Inc.(CEO Yung Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) will launch ‘Wonderful Home Run Account’ a transactional account, on March 29, that provides high interest rate depending on the number of home runs scored during the pennant race, doubling the excitement of watching the baseball game at the same time.

The interest rate for ‘Wonderful Home Run Account’ is as follows; ▷ it starts with annual rate of 0.1%(before tax) ▷ a step-up preferential rate is applied across all accounts based on the number of homeruns scored. ▷ a special rate is applied to specific accounts, when the designated home run (for 1st, 100th, 300th, 500th, 700th, 900th, and 1000th home runs occurring during pennant race) is also scored by a player from the team selected by customers. ▷ an event rate is applied across all accounts either when the number of spectators exceeds 6 million during pennant race or when the number of home runs of a single player is over 50.
