CKI launches ‘Citi Post-paid Hipass Card’ dedicated to highway toll fee payment

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea, Inc. (CEO Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) announced that it launched Citi Post-paid Hipass Card for drivers to pay highway toll fees without cash or charging.

Citi Post-paid Hipass Card offers 50%~20% discount during rush hours and all-time 5% discount when using Hipass lane on the Korea Expressway Corporation highways. The card is dedicated to highway toll fee payment for which anyone holding a Citibank credit card can apply. (Citi BC excluded) It may also be issued when applying for/issuing a new Citibank credit card.

To celebrate its launch, CKI will hold a cash-back event and pay customers who sign up on the homepage up to 30%, max KRW 10,000 of Citi Post-paid Hipass Card spending and offer the latest hipass terminals at special prices for customers purchasing via Citicard online shopping mall until Sept.30.

Citi Post-paid Hipass Card’s annual fee is KRW 2,000 and can be applied for via Citibank branches and www.citibank.co.kr. Customers issuing the card before end December this year will be annual-fee waived for 5 years.
