Citibank gives watermelons and 100% promotion rate for currency exchange at all branches

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea (CEO Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) announced its plan to offer promotion rate of 100% for currency exchange to walk-in customers at all branches on July 25 (Monday) where the branch staff will treat customers with watermelons wearing cool Hawaiian-themed uniform

If a client visits one of Citibank’s branches and buys cash in foreign currency, Citibank will grant 100% promotion rate for up to the amount equivalent to US$ 1,000 per person limited to 3 currencies; USD, Euro and JPY.

For a special summer treat, Citibank Korea employees and CEO will give away watermelons wearing Hawaiian shirts to the public and present ukulele performance and Hawaiian hula dance to make them feel like they are vacationing in the Hawaiian beach, at the entrance of Cheong-Gye-Cheon Plaza on July 25. There’ll be other exciting games which the public can play themselves, such as eating-watermelon contest, watermelon bowling game, spin-the-wheel game, etc, designed to bring Citibank closer to customers.
