Citibank Korea conducts Safe & Secure Internet Banking Campaign

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea (CEO Ha Yung Ku, www.citibank.co.kr) that puts safety first in the electronic financial transaction environment for customers is implementing ‘Citibank Safe & Secure Internet Banking Campaign’ to promote the safe use of electronic banking service.

The recent campaign aims to educate customers on how to use programs essential to safe electronic banking transactions and provides free secure browser online vaccine, anti-fishing service, and virus/spyware inspection service. Notably, Citibank Korea is the only commercial bank in Korea that provides AOS(Ahnlab Online Security), secure browser service of AhnLab, Korea’s leading security solution provider and such effort is being well received to be said an action taken step ahead to establish stronger security system.

In an effort to promote the Safe & Secure Internet Banking Campaign, Citibank is also implementing a promotion. Among the customers who used Citibank internet banking or mobile banking for money transfer during the promotion period (September 22 ~ October 31), winners of a lucky draw will receive a variety of gift that includes 1-year coupon of V3 365 Clinic & PC Home Doctor of AhnLab (10 persons), 1-year coupon of PC Home Doctor (50 persons), and 1-time coupon of PC Home Doctor (100 persons).
