Q2 Result Progressed as Planned and the Full Year Projection Will Aim for Highest Ever Profit

TOKYO--(Korea Newswire)--Fields Corporation today announces financial information and business results for the Q2 of the year ending March 31, 2012.

The Company's core business, pachinko and pachislot sales are heavily concentrated in the second half of the fiscal year. The Company is therefore aiming for its highest ever profit.

In Q2, the Company released a big pachinko title, deploying Japanese superstar, Ayumi Hamasaki, and made hit sales of 70,000 units. As for the market, the pachinko halls sales made a steady progress despite beliefs that the sales figure would show a slight decline due to emphasis on reducing power consumption etc. this summer.

As for the group business, a monthly comic magazine “Hero‘s”, recognized as the core of the Company’s contents development will be issued in November 2011. And the film, “BERSERK”, produced by the Company's subsidiary Lucent Pictures will be premiered in February 2012.
