The new generation Porsche 911 is emerging from one of the biggest development steps in the long history of this classic sports car. Almost 90 percent of all components have been redesigned or redeveloped, yet keeping its DNA at the same time. The all-new, lightweight body is an intelligent aluminium-steel construction which is responsible for a significant proportion of the weight reduction of up to 45 kilograms. Prices in Korea start at 128,000,000 KRW for the 911 Carrera and 147,000,000 KRW for the 911 Carrera S.

New active control systems elevate driving dynamics to an unprecedented level. The new electro-mechanical power steering offers Porsche’s typical precision and feedback, and also helps to economise on fuel. Moreover, the world’s first seven-speed manual transmission is featured as standard. Additional systems and functions such as auto start/stop, thermal management and electrical system recuperation further enhance the new Carrera’s efficiency.

However, true to the 911 tradition, the distinctive Porsche design language with its tendons and muscles exudes power and elegance. The new design of front and rear spoiler as well as the conical shape of the windshield and headlamps provide enhance aerodynamics. The wheelbase has been extended 100mm with a lower height and 20 inch wheels which presents a very athletic appearance.

Setting the standard in its class, as it has for generations, the new 911 Carrera raises the performance and efficiency bar yet again. Fuel consumption and emissions are up to 16 per cent lower compared with its predecessor with CO2 emission rating only. The new Start and Stop function in the 911 further increases fuel efficiency. The new generation starts with the 911 Carrera, powered by a 350 hp (257 kW), 3.4-litre six-cylinder engine and the 911 Carrera S with 400 hp (294 kW) flat engine and 3.8 litre displacement with an acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds for the Carrera S with Sports Chrono Package plus.
