N-Solution Releases Multi-PC Service Terminal Unit ‘NPC-100S’

WONJU--(Korea Newswire)--Cloud computing specialized company N-SOLUTION(www.n-solution.co.kr) has released ‘NPC-100S’ which is a multi-computer service terminal unit that allows multiple users to make use of a single PC machine.

‘NPC-100S’ is a product developed by N-SOLUTION that allows a single PC desktop to be used by two or more persons, where ‘Windows XP’ supports up to 3 users, and ‘Windows 7 (32bit, 64bit)’ supports up to 8.

By connecting the ‘NPC-100S’ terminal unit to the basic PC desktop, the software installed on the original desktop such as internet or office can be used simultaneously, and various hardware such as wireless mouse and keyboard, web camera, printer, and scanner can also be equipped.

User individual data is also protected. Each user can configure unique independent environment for oneself, and execute application programs independently as well. Hard drives are allocated per user, and the access of other users can also be controlled.

Since it uses a single PC desktop, the hardware or software, initial investment, or maintenance expenses are all reduced when compared to each purchasing a desktop. Also, the product installation and such improves space utilization.

Especially, this product contributes to environmental issues. It saves power consumption, CO2 generation and such compared to general PC, saving up to 69% of energy and 335.81t of carbon emission every year.
