SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA--(Korea Newswire)--Having globally launched the Android version of uZard Pop, a mobile PC remote control solution that is installed with the industry-first Wake On WAN function, Logicplant said it upgraded the Web browser shifting function in uZard Pop.

Developed by Logicplant's proprietary Wake On WAN-related patent technologies, uZard Pop is a technology that can turn a PC on and off power-saving mode remotely via the network-connected Internet. Its Android version was launched in May in the United States and Asia, winning positive response.

The attractive merit of uZard Pop is that it provides mobile users with an environment as if the smart phone were a PC by uniquely controlling the Internet Browser in a remote PC. Mobile users can surf the Web as if they use smart phone Web browser. In other words, they can use functions of Active X, attach files stored in a PC, execution of flash in iOS, and viewing Website that properly operates in PC Internet browser. And they also can use the bookmark list in a PC.

By upgraded web browser shifting function of the PC, it is possible to identify all activated web browsers on the PC monitor by program thumbnail, which enables for users to use PC programs automatically fitted on the phone display, as if they feel smart phone program, in a faster speed.

Logicplant said uZard Pop will evolve into a mobile solution that can use a remote PC as a media center from a solution that remotely controls a PC. And the evolved version will install a function of streaming videos stored in a PC, and it will enable users to conveniently read document files stored in a PC through smart phone viewer.

Logicplant will provide MS Outlook as a smart phone interface by continuously integrating functions with PC applications. Then, mobile users will be able to use functions provided by PC e-mail client as though they use smart phone e-mail client.

Now users can download uZard Pop from Google Play market, and its iOS version will be available in August.
