Citibank Korea offers up to 100% DC on FX fee for money exchange and remittance during the summer

SEOUL--(Korea Newswire)--Citibank Korea Inc. (CEO Yung-Ku Ha, www.citibank.co.kr) announced it offers the benefit of FX fee discount from 70% up to 100% for customers buying foreign currency in cash or remitting foreign currency at Citibank branch until the end of August.

For the purchase of three kinds of foreign currencies - USD, EUR, JPY- in cash, FX fee is discounted by ▶ 70% for up to USD 1,000 or equivalent amount for general customers, or ▶100% for up to USD 1,000 or equivalent amount for customers getting Citibank International Cash Card newly issued on the same day.

For overseas remittance, FX fee is discounted by ▶ 70% for general customers, ▶ 80% for customers designating account for remittance to overseas student, or ▶ 100% for customers designating account for remittance to overseas student and getting Citibank International Cash Card newly issued.

Citibank International Cash Card, one of the best-selling products of Citibank, is a must-have item for travelers that allows instant cash withdrawal in local currency from Citibank ATM in 35 countries around the world only at USD 1 withdrawal fee per transaction and network fee of 0.2%.

For customers who paid the issuance fee of KRW 30,000 for International Cash Card, the fee (USD 1 or KRW 2,000) for cash withdrawal from overseas ATM is waived for up to KRW 30,000.
