WONJU--(Korea Newswire)--Medical device company Promedi Co.,Ltd. (CEO Jong Cheol Park) said it has acquired the production license for its complex low frequency stimulator SPMI-330 on October 28th.
SPMI-330 is a complex medical device that uses the low-frequency stimulator for interferential current therapy (ICT) and the low-frequency stimulator (PSSP) at the same time. It applies low and medium frequency to the body through electrodes to relieve muscle pain.
It is effective in saving money and space since it combined two separate devices, ICT and PSSP.
For ICT, frequency of 2, 4, and 6 kHz are available, and it offers 18 different programs. PSSP has 6 channels and includes functions such as CONT., INT., MIX.2, and MIX.3. The user can save programs, as well.
SPMI-330 digitally creates frequency, thus it accurately stimulates the affected area. Plus, the patient is less likely to feel repulsed by it has smooth emission. The set value can be saved for next use. In addition, suction and rate operates together, creating the maximum effect for easing pain.
It also has various safety systems for patients.
Its Zero Start makes sure the strength value start from 0 at all times. When shutting down, the ICT intensity automatically powers off. Moreover, it has the over current prevention circuit that prevents the current from suddenly increasing.
Promedi has acquired from the FDA the medical device production license for SPMI-330 by submitting the test result and technical documents. It is now preparing to sell the product in the domestic market. The actual sales is expected to begin at the end of November.
