GFCI 17 to be Launched In Busan, Korea

BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA--(Korea Newswire)--Busan Metropolitan City and Z/Yen Group Ltd. are pleased to announce that the Global Financial Centres Index 17th edition launch conference will be held on Monday, 23 March 2015 at 09:00 AM (Korean Time) in Busan, Korea.

Hundreds of financial professionals in Korea and around the world will join the inspiring half-day conference on competitiveness of the world's leading financial centers.

Byung-soo Suh, the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, will deliver the opening remarks and Michael Mainelli, the Executive Director of Z/Yen, City of London's leading financial think-thank, will make a keynote speech, titled ‘Future visions of the leading financial centers and suggestions for the sustainable development of Busan International Finance Center.’

Mark Yeandle, Associate Director at Z/Yen Group and author of the GFCI index, will be presenting the main findings of GFCI 17 and discussing the trends in the competitiveness of the leading financial centers.
